Dr. Suja E is an Indian Council of Medical Research- Research Associate (ICMR-RA) in the Department of Biotechnology. She is working on the antibacterial applications of bacteriophages under the mentorship of Prof. Sarita G Bhat. After qualifying the CSIR/UGC-JRF, she joined Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Kalpakkam as JRF and carry out her Ph.D. thesis on next-generation wastewater treatments. She was a SERB-NPDF before joining CUSAT in 2020. She is an expert in biological wastewater treatment, bio-nano materials for environmental applications and biofilms.
