Parkinson’s disease (PD) is regarded as the second most common neurodegenerative disease and the gold standard for treating the disease is the administration of L-DOPA. Her research is focused on cell therapy for PD, which includes the collection of stem cells from blood and its differentiation into dopaminergic neurons and finally its transplantation into a rat model of PD.
