The Department of Biotechnology, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) is inviting applications for “Advanced Training in Microbiology and Molecular Biology Techniques”. Students in their B.Sc/B.Tech/M.Sc and Research Scholars are encouraged to apply. The 10-day training program provides lecture and laboratory training from 08/05/2023 to 18/05/2023. Candidates upon successful completion will receive a certificate of participation. The training fee is Rs. 15,000/- which covers course material, laboratory consumables, along with lunch and refreshments. The last date for registration is 01/05/2023. The Symposium titled "GNR Centenary Symposium for Structural Biology" has been designed with the objective of commemorating the contributions of Prof.(Dr.) G N Ramachandran in the field of structural biology, who spent most part of his early life and formative education in Cochin, Kerala. On the occasion of celebrating the Centenary Year, we look forward to bring in the stalwarts who were lucky to be mentored by GNR or have interacted with him closely and who have pioneered in the domain with GNR's signature.
