Jiya Jose received her doctoral degree from CSIR- National Institute of Oceanography, RC-Kochi. She also received Dr. S. Kothari Post Doctoral Fellowship by UGC and Post Doctoral Research Fellowship from Stockholm University, Sweden. Dr. Jiya Jose received the award of Research Associate from Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). The council is the forerunner of biomedical research and one of the largest research bodies in the world. She is a dynamic researcher with more than Twelve years of experience in Marine Science, Nano-biotechnology and Tissue engineering with more than 40 publications and 3 edited books. Many International and National conferences, Seminars and workshops have been attended during this time. Collaborate with broad spectrum of researchers from India and abroad. Her area of research focuses on developing tissue engineering scaffolds from Natural polymers functionalised with Nanomaterials and growth factors
