Dr. Subha K is an institute post doctoral fellow in Department of Biotechnology since June 2018 under the mentorship of Dr.Sarita G Bhat. She received her doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering from Laval University, Quebec city, Canada. Prior to which she holds an M.Tech degree in Biotechnology. Her areas of specialization involve reaction engineering, structured nanomaterials, oleochemicals. She is basically interested on interdisciplinary research in Biochemical Engineering with emphasis on biocatalysts for valorization/production of valuable chemicals from solid wastes. She has obtained merit schorlarship for students exchange program for Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada (DFAIT-CANADA) and merit scholarship for academic performance from VIT University.
