Dr. Sreeja Narayanan is currently a UGC-DSK Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Biotechnology, CUSAT. She received her PhD from the Amrita Centre for Nanosciences and Molecular Medicine in Nanobiotechnology for her work on the design and application of polymeric core/shell nanomedicine for sequential drug delivery in breast cancer therapy. Her expertise also includes development of theranostic platforms based on superparamagnetic and metallic nanomaterials. At DBT, she works on the development of nanomaterials based on microbial exometabolites for application in inflammation and cancer. She also focuses on the development of biopolymer- based hydrogels for cancer therapy.
