Dr. Chithra K Pushpan, is currently a KSCSTE Post-Doctoral Fellow working under the mentorship of Dr. Sarita G Bhat, at Department of Biotechnology, CUSAT. She received her doctoral degree in Biochemistry from University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram in 2017. Her area of interest and specialization include nutrition, inflammation, and atherosclerosis. Presently she is working on Intestinal inflammation and microbiome dysbiosis in animal models to study its impact on chronic diseases. She also has experience in teaching at graduate and post graduate levels.
